Summary:
Please Join Shelter Cove Fire, and SC CERT teams for the annual Shelter Cove Tsunami evacuation drill. Siren activation will be at 11am and the walk will start shortly after. Hotdogs, Chips, and Refreshments will be provided at the fire station after the walk.


Full Description:
Please Join Shelter Cove Fire, and SC CERT teams for the annual Shelter Cove Tsunami evacuation drill. This event is open to anyone who wishes to participate in a simulated tsunami evacuation from the Shelter Cove Community Center up Machi Rd. approximately ¼ mile to the Shelter Cove Fire Hall. Siren activation will be at 11am and the walk will start shortly after.
Hotdogs, Chips, and Refreshments will be provided at the fire station after the walk.

We will be meeting at the Club house around 10:30am. Please bring athletic shoes, and dress appropriately planning for inclement weather. Those who wish not to walk can drive up to the fire station via Shelter Cove Rd after they hear the sirens go off. We are also testing our 3 wildfire sirens at the same time. If you hear any sirens, please let us know on our Facebook, Instagram, or at scfd@sheltercove-ca.gov.
